Changelog
Every test, retest, and page update, newest first.
2026-08-02
- Search and trust release: published explicit authorship, independent-project ownership, correction contact, a public privacy page, and Google-compatible Article metadata with separate publication and modification dates.
- Measurement contract aligned: added site-wide
scroll_90,outbound_click,copy_command, andengaged_60sevents while keeping the existing page-specific events for continuity. - Crawl delivery repaired: added the IndexNow ownership proof and changed-URL pusher, truthful sitemap modification dates, and a release script that commits source and generated output together before waiting for the live build.
- Prevented Cloudflare email obfuscation from rewriting the Obsidian page's SSH clone example into a broken internal link.
2026-07-31
- Correction — GSD archive date. Our test record dated the archiving of
gsd-build/get-shit-doneto 2026-05-31. GitHub's own repository banner reads "archived by the owner on Jun 26, 2026", so the record now says 2026-06-26, carries the source of that date, and a build test fails if any page contradicts it. The move itself, the destination repo, and every measured number in the test block are unchanged. - Get Shit Done page rewritten above the fold: the GSD Core page now answers the migration question — old repo, archive date, new repo, current install command, measured result, and what we did not test — before the verification block, instead of after it. Those facts are now generated from the test record rather than typed into prose.

- Discovery radar added: 15 dated source surfaces now feed a gated test queue across official repositories, GitHub Skill Search, skills.sh demand telemetry, Claude marketplaces, ClawHub, curated lists, and long-tail indexes. Popularity only orders eligible tests; it never becomes a quality verdict. P0–P3 metadata and full-retest cadences, immediate security/change triggers, machine-readable snapshots, and a daily no-install audit are now published.
- Planner API beta added: the builder now uses a same-origin Cloudflare Pages Function backed by the same generated Path catalog as the static pages. The deterministic parser was evaluated against 60 frozen English and Chinese goals, makes zero model calls, stores no goal text, can request one path-changing clarification, and falls back to in-browser matching when the API is unavailable.
- Goal-to-Skill Path static beta launched: a goal-first homepage and
Build My Skill Path now match user outcomes only against three published
path records. Each result exposes its current evidence level, handoffs, limitations, source
record, and generated Markdown/JSON reproduction pack. Unsupported goals return
NOT TESTED; no model invents skills or claims. - Replaced the binary
WORKSlabel with explicit verification levels. Current records now distinguish install verification from function verification and publish both the verified scope and what remains unverified. - Moved current comparison-page identity facts (repo, stars/date, commit, install command) to the single tested-record source. Narrative history remains dated prose.
- Fixed sitemap
lastmodgeneration to use each page's own evidence or content date instead of assigning one global date to every URL. - Separated comparison analytics from Skill-page analytics with a dedicated
view_compareevent so distribution traffic does not inflateview_skill.
2026-07-25
- Second deep comparison published the same day: hallmark vs kill-ai-slop vs visual-skills — all three design skills pointed at this site's own homepage; hallmark's audit verdict and kill-ai-slop's 30 raw scanner hits published against ourselves, with the human-confirm analysis and nine upstream suggestions (three per author).
- Star counts re-read for the three design repos (all rose: hallmark 15,794 → 17,177; kill-ai-slop 708 → 738; visual-skills 103 → 108) and recorded with dates.
- First deep-comparison page published: video-shotcraft vs Remotion official skills — identical 5-second brief implemented via each skill's own methodology, both rendered, frames published, six upstream fix suggestions drafted (three per author).
- Star counts re-read for both compared repos and recorded with dates; video-shotcraft's count fell between test (564, 07-23) and comparison (400, 07-25) while remotion-dev/skills rose (3,677 → 4,073). Readings logged on the comparison page; no interpretation offered.
- New during testing: after a skills-CLI install, all six sub-skill links in the official
pack's
remotion-best-practiceshub are dead — documented on the comparison page and headed for an upstream issue. Corrected later the same day after checking the repo source: the linkedREFERENCE.mdfiles exist upstream; the installer renames them toSKILL.mdand rewrites../-prefixed cross-links but misses the hub's six prefix-less ones. Corrections are content here.
2026-07-24
- Site-wide interface upgrade: clearer test-result hierarchy, live summary statistics, improved comparison tables, related reading, stronger mobile navigation, accessible focus states, and a new social sharing image.
- Added one-click install-command copying and measurement for
view_skill,copy_install, andoutbound_github. - Added short edge caching for pages and long-lived caching for the social image. The site still uses no external fonts or front-end framework.
2026-07-23 (later the same day)
- Second batch of pages published, completing write-ups for the full tested batch: Obsidian five-pack, design skills roundup (hallmark / kill-ai-slop / visual-skills), Remotion official pack, plus four guides: best practices, activation, building a skill, and what are Claude skills.
- Star counts backfilled from the GitHub API for smixs/visual-skills (103) and remotion-dev/skills (3,677) — both were rate-limited during the morning test run.
2026-07-23
- Site launched with the first tested batch: 8 skill packages installed and
exercised in one session on a clean Linux sandbox (21 individual skills landed in
.claude/skills/). - First pages published: kill-ai-slop, video-shotcraft, CodeDrobe, Get Shit Done, plus methodology and this changelog.
- Notable finding logged during testing:
gsd-build/get-shit-done(64,696★) is archived; GSD development moved toopen-gsd/gsd-core. Directory listings had not caught up as of test date. - Failure log opened with three Remotion-on-headless-Linux entries (concurrency cap, removed old-headless mode, blocked headless-shell download) — all fixed, fixes documented on the video-shotcraft page.
- In the pipeline, tested and awaiting write-up: kepano/obsidian-skills (5-skill pack), Nutlope/hallmark, smixs/visual-skills, remotion-dev/skills (official 10-pack).
